And JKP, I printed out an article from the website you posted, but I also claim hectic academic life “at the moment”, shit man, more like “for the last couple of months”. But I shall peruse it at my leisure at some stage when all calms down and maybe I’ll have some things to say about it. Lowly student that I am.
]]>FYI (re Biolinguistics): this looks like a great even in the Dominican Republic, the Biolinguistic Investigations conference, details to follow soon here. You’ll find me there; am looking into a Dom Rep trip from February 19-25, 2007 or so.
One of the organizers, Anna Maria di Sciullo, is also going to put together a second Biolinguistic Investigations conference in Venice with Memo Cinque. The theme is going to be “Grammar and Variation” and I’ve been invited to say something there. It’s planned for June 1-3, 2007.
If things work well next year (something I can’t confirm yet), I might be organizing a third related conference, Biolinguistic Explorations, in Cyprus, most likely October 22-24, 2007.
]]>No really, send more paramedics (burp), I mean scientists….

]]>ps-Why is there no one else here? It seems the linguists dominate, at least here.
