CLASS DAYS [OCT 2]
Pavlos asked me to swap the last four classes, so that we will meet on Fridays instead. The first of these classes [NOV 10] will still be off (what I call "reading week") and the next class [NOV 17] will take place after Phil Harrison's Wednesday lecture. The final two weeks of the semester, we'll meet "regularly" on Fridays [NOV 24, DEC 1]. On the very last day, Cedric Boeckx from Harvard University is going to take over. Look at the main page for the revised syllabus [PDF].
The article by Frampton & Gutmann (2006) is now online in the form of PDF files -- however, emphasis lies on the plural: Constantinos scanned it, but each (double) page is one large file. The link thus takes you to a page with 16 files, each representing two printed pages. Will try and improve this soon.
PRESENTATION SCHEDULE [SEP 15]
After talking to most of you, I think it's better if we begin a class with a student presentation, and if that presentation picks up on the material covered in the previous class. I thus moved all presentations up one class as you can see in the revised syllabus [PDF]. This way you can prepare normally for the class to which you presentation will be relevant, learn all important concepts, and then have another week to prepare your presentation.
MISSING ARTICLE 1 [SEP 5]
I don't yet have the published version of the article by Frampton & Gutmann (2006) as a single PDF, only the book in which it appeared and an earlier version. I'll try and make either available soon. In the meantime, just like all papers, the person who will present it got a copy.
