PG-COURSE NEWS

EXERCISES 2 [MAR 31]

The second set of exercises is available for download here. I will hand it out in class on Tuesday.

MAKE-UP CLASS [MAR 21]

The long make-up class will be in room A 008 on Wednesday, March 22 from 1.30-4.30pm (yes, with breaks!).

SYLLABUS III [MAR 20]

Two very minor changes: (i) the title of this Tuesday's class has changed (but reading stays the same) and (ii) the second set of exercises is due a week later than previously planned, April 11.

SYLLABUS II [MAR 11]

There have been two more (= final?) changes in the course syllabus. The class on April 4 will not be canceled, but take place. The final and regular class in May, Class 25, will be a review class and as such totally voluntary (or even superfluous?). We'll talk about this in class.

EXAM [FEB 23]

The final exam will be in room A 008 on Saturday, May 13 from 12.30-3.30pm.

SYLLABUS [FEB 11]

There have been some major changes in the course syllabus. The most obvious and for you relevant ones are: (i) no classes March 7 and 10 (I will be in Brussels accompanying UCY students to visit the European Parliament) , (ii) different due dates for exercises (for example, EXX-1 will require you to sepnd a week working on new material which we'll summarize when I'm back), (iii) no scheduled review class (but I'd be happy to put one in anytime after our last class, which we will now definitely have, on May 5).

BOOKS [JAN 26]

At last, the second book has arrived at Moufflon as well, so please pick it up soon.

CLASSES [JAN 22]

I will be absent for three classes (conference participation abroad), which will be made up through a double-session on Wednesday, March 22 (with a short break). The postponed classes are: January 31 (Tuesday), March 3 (Friday), April 7 (Friday). The final class (after the Easter break) will be a revision session to prepare you for the final exam.
